Rotten Potato is another example of how the Print team reuses familiar features but in different ways. In this game, the slightly off-putting Potato Horde and Spreading Fungus features do it. Meanwhile, when they happen, it also creates a sense of strange satisfaction.

The Free Spins were always fun in the other Potato slots, and the same applies to the one offered in Rotten Potato. There is a progress bar here again, but it works differently than before. Now you want wins to happen using the Rotten Potato Wild, as it infects reel positions. You then collect infected positions to progress through the different stages.

However, progressing through the levels won’t automatically mean that you will reach the game’s bigger wins. So there will be occasions when the progress doesn’t reflect what you are actually winning.

On another note, it is nice to see Print Studios taking a different direction with Rotten Potato and introducing new features instead of making a third Royal Potato that’s more or less the same as the previous ones.

I would be surprised if Rotten Potato didn’t become another hit slot, since it’s also very entertaining and different.
