Evolution is the world’s largest live casino provider, but it also owns some of the most prominent online slot studios, including Nolimit City, NetEnt, Big Time Gaming, Red Tiger, and Sneaky Slots.
Each studio has its own style of games, but today Evolution announced it is releasing yet another slot studio targeted mainly at the regulated US market.
Spinning Whale is the name of the announced game studio that will create new online slots mainly for US-based customers, although Evolution also aims to make the games interesting to a global audience.
Spinning Whale’s first release is 888 Dragon’s Fortune Hold’n’Win. This Asian-themed slot resembles classic land-based games and should interest US players in particular.
Evolution sees the regulated North American market as a key market and believes its online slot business has significant growth potential.
North American and US-based players often have specific preferences for how slots function, their designs, and the features used, so creating a new brand that can meet those demands makes sense.
Spinning Whale slots will be distributed exclusively through Evolution’s One Stop Shop (OSS) to online casino operators.
The brand is planned to debut in November, with several Spinning Whale titles to be released in 2027.
Evolution hasn’t specifically commented on its plans for Spinning Whale in the UK market, but since all its other slot studios have UKGC licenses, UK casinos will likely be able to offer these games to UK-based players once they are released.
NetEnt, Red Tiger, and Nolimit City frequently release new games, and specifically, NetEnt has had a strong return in 2026, with several great titles released after a few years in the shadows.
Big Time Gaming has also been active, releasing 7 games through September 2026, with Extra Chilli More Chilli among their most anticipated releases.
Sneaky Slots is a bit of a mystery at the moment, as they have released only 4 games since their first game launched in September 2025, and only one release so far in 2026. Gopnik especially shows what the studio can do, so it’s a shame they’ve disappeared from the radar.
We will update our readers and visitors once Spinning Whale starts releasing more games and if they become available for UK players.
