About Wild-O-Tron 3000
Wild-O-Tron 3000 is a slot game that draws inspiration from those retro sci-fi movies from the 1960s, showcasing awesome robots that have a chance of transforming into Wilds!
This NetEnt slot only has one (mini) bonus feature, which is activated entirely at random.
With just that one random bonus feature, Casinowizard asks himself: “Can Wild-O-Tron be any fun?”.
The answer: nope.
Wild-O-Tron 3000 is one of the worst slots Netent has ever released. The theme is generic and tired, and the bonus feature is dull and without any serious potential.
If Wild-O-Tron 3000 were a rock song, it would be considered filler material.
Wild-O-Tron 3000 introduction, including RTP and variance
The game is played on a 5×3 playing field with 20 fixed paylines. Symbols in this game can appear stacked.
The theoretical payout (RTP) of this slot game is 96.01%, which is average for these games, which means you can expect an enjoyable experience. The volatility sits between low to medium. Because of that, the title is mostly focused on small, frequent pays, with an occasional jackpot spicing things up.
Wild-O-Tron 3000 gameplay and paytable
The symbols are all unique, made out of robots of varying quality. The lowest-paying robot looks ready for the trash heap, while the highest-paying one is new and elegant.
The sleek, silver robot with a light-blue W glowing in front of it is a special symbol, which is Wild.
You aim to get a full screen of wilds, as this is the only way to win anything decent on this online slot.
This slot only has a single special feature, which is activated at random. The machine seated at the side of the reels will come to life and shoot lightning at the reels. The current stream will bounce around, transforming between one to all six robot symbols into Wilds.
CasinoWizard’s verdict: 2 out of 5 stars
We have to admit, with just one bonus, Wild-O-Tron 3000 is boring as hell. CasinoWizard loves his slots but just can’t seem to get his head around this one.
The gameplay seems rather pointless as there is nothing to play for. There is no real bonus feature, nor can you land those big wins that we love so much.
To add insult to injury, the Return To Player is also no more than average for a NetEnt release.
That said, we do adore some of the graphics here, especially when you activate the paytable, with the reels closing and a projector turning on to show the paytable itself like some sort of schematics.
While the standard NetEnt polish is there, we were hoping for a bit more substance with this slot. As it stands right now, it feels like it needs another bonus. Either that or a variation to its gameplay to keep it interesting.
