A 5-of-a-kind of matching royals pays 3x-5x the bet. Land 5 of the same premium symbols on a payline to win between 8x and 20x the bet.

Nuclear Wild Feature

Before we get into the meat and potatoes of the main bonus rounds, there is also a Nuclear Wild feature in the base game to be discussed.

• Bomber – Unlocks at station 15 and multiplies all values on the reels by either x2 to x5.
• Pyromancer – Unlocks at station 15 and burns a static Hot Zone on the train. Normal feature symbols that can be persistent are upgraded to persistent inside the hot zone. All bonus symbol values that land inside or are moved into it are doubled.
• Permanent Payer – Unlocks and activates at Station 20. It can only be obtained by reaching Station 20. Its value can only be boosted by Payer and Persistent Payer (not including the ones created from the Necromancer or Arms Dealer). The value is boosted only by the first effect of any new Payer or Persistent Payer that lands. Permanent Payers act after all other features except Tickets.

The following symbols can be persistent: Collector., Payer, Sniper, Collector-Payer, Necromancer, Arms Dealer, Bomber.

Earn tickets to progress to stations and unlock extra features

Landing tickets moves to train 1 to 5 steps (per ticket) closer to the station. When the train moves, all values from reels that exit the screen are stored and added to the final win.

There are four Station that may be reached:

• Station 5: Unlocks the chance to land Persistent Symbols.
• Station 10: Unlocks and gears an extra row.
• Station 15: Unlocks the chance to land the Bomber and the Pyromancer.

Money Train 5 adds a cool quest feature to what was already one of the strongest bonus round mechanics ever created. And there are some serious rewards involved when you reach a train station: extra stored wins, freed up reels and bigger and better special modifiers.

It’s all about landing those precious tickets and even when you do, you still need that bit of magic combination of strong persistent modifiers and big symbol values to get a good result.
