We loved the bonuses and gameplay this NetEnt slot release offered us. Almost as much as we loved them a year ago when the developer released Divine Fortune. Sadly, this game ended up being nothing more than a clone, which is rather disappointing. It seems even studios of NetEnt’s size cannot help but dip their fingers into the forbidden cookie jar.

As is to be expected, the artists have outdone themselves yet again. Most of the symbols look gorgeous, and the animations are top-notch. Despite the care and effort being put into the whole thing, it is just another Egyptian themed release.

It has a solid RTP, medium variance, and a shot at winning the progressive jackpot. But, despite all of that, we would not recommend playing Mercy of the Gods.
