Le Bandit is available in these RTP configurations: 88.36%, 92.17%, 94.23%, or 96.34%.

Meanwhile, Le King can be played in these RTP versions: 88.25%, 92.25%, 94.18%, or 96.14%.

How to play Le King

Le King is considered to be a medium volatile slot, which can seem a bit odd since it offers the highest max win potential of all the games in the series.

The Cluster Pays mechanic creates wins when 5 or more matching symbols appear in a cluster. The winning symbols are then removed and replaced by new ones in a cascading effect that continues until the wins stop.

The most valuable regular symbols are the roulette wheels, and clusters of 12 or more pay 25x the bet.  

When playing from the UK, you can start playing at 10p per spin, rising to a maximum of £2 per spin when aged 18-24 and £5 per spin when aged 25 or older.

Golden Squares

The positions of winning symbols become highlighted, and landing a rainbow symbol anywhere on the reels triggers the golden squares feature.

All highlighted positions will transform into a coin, clover, or treasure pot.

• Silver Coins – 5x to 20x the bet

The clovers and their added multipliers:

Smokey the raccoon has made quite a journey from a retro setting as a bandit to ancient Egypt to the land of the Vikings and now appears in what seems to be Las Vegas as the king himself, Elvis.

Le King is a step back towards its roots as it resembles the original Le Bandit more than the others. This is not a bad thing, though, as it’s probably the most popular game from the series.

The base game is entertaining, particularly with the cluster pays mechanic, while you hope to trigger the rainbow feature frequently. This combo is an excellent addition to the main game, especially since we also play with the cascading mechanic.

The bonus games are also fun and get exciting, especially in the 4 and 5 scatter-free spins, where you can build up a big set of highlighted symbols that remain activated until all spins have been played. The only real bummer is when you sit there and shout after the rainbow symbols to land, but they fail to do so.

It’s kind of hard for Le King to fail as it’s basically a reskin of Le Bandit, which is one of the biggest all-time hits from Hacksaw Gaming. Some players will love that, while others would have wanted to see something new and different.

One thing is for sure: it’s a safe bet from Hacksaw, as the original version now gets a boost through this new edition with added jackpots (and a higher max win) for new players to explore.
