The huge max win potential of 50,000x the bet might be the most exciting thing about Grizzly Stampede, as the base game isn’t exactly exciting. Sure, the features offered are straightforward and easy to understand, but all the near hits get to you after a while. Especially as many of the successful Stampede features pay smaller wins.

The occasional Totem Feature compensates a bit for the Stampede feature, but they happen way too rarely, and if unlucky, they can also lead to nothing. At least during my test session.

The Free Spins follow the same concept as seen in the base game, with the difference that you can collect Golden Grizzly symbols and increase the row sizes.

The Multiplier Wild can be the differentiator between decent and big wins, but it also didn’t occur as often as one would hope.

All this is, of course, also due to the game being so risky. Most players will walk away with nothing, but a few lucky ones can win really big. That is the nature of Grizzly Stampede.

This is a good-looking game with straightforward features, but there are a lot of bells and whistles for nothing.

ELK Studios rarely release poor games, and Grizzly Stampede isn’t one of them either. However, it’s far from their best work.
