Gameplay and Pay Table

Symbols are split into lower and higher-paying tiers. Lower paying icons include the letters Q, K and A. Higher paying symbols are the seven dwarves, Snow White and the slot’s logo symbol, which is used as a Wild.

Wilds have no functions by themselves, but can be enhanced in various ways during free spins. Scatters take the shape of a diamond, and are used to activate free spins.

Dwarfs Gone Wild bonus features

Collecting three diamond Scatters on the second, third and fourth reel activates the free spins special feature. Seven extra turns are played, with several Wild enhancing bonuses.

There is a gleaming bar to the left of the playing field, which slowly fills each time a win occurs that has at least one dwarf in it. Once a bar is filled up, it adds a Dwarf bonus, used to alter Wilds for the duration of free spins.

There are no less than seven Wild enhancing special features, and this means you will have to fill the bar seven times to have access to everything.

The bonuses include:

  • Rolling Wilds – A Wild randomly appears on the third, fourth or fifth reel. On each re-spin, it moves one position to the left.
  • Spreading Wilds – A single Wild is placed on a random position on the playing field, and then explodes, creating between two to four additional Wilds in adjacent positions.
  • Throwback Wilds – Between two to five Wilds are created and placed in random positions.
  • Full Reel Wilds – Up to two full reel Wilds are created.
  • Free Wild – A single Wild is placed in the best position, as chosen by the game.
  • Extra Free Spins – Three, four or five extra free spins are awarded.
  • Win Multiplier – One or more winning spins are multiplied by 2x, 3x or 5x.

Magic Mirror bonus

Whenever a Magic Mirror lands anywhere on the middle reel, it triggers a bonus with the same name.

Two re-spins are played, with 300 additional Snow White symbols being added. There is no guarantee they will appear, but chances of a significant win are dramatically increased.

CasinoWizard’s Verdict: 3 out of 5 stars

Quickspin hyped dwarfs Gone Wild as one of their best slots ever.

Sadly, it doesn’t quite live up to that premise.

Don’t get CasinoWizard wrong; this is an enjoyable slot. It is just nowhere near the best Quickspin has ever released.

It seems the slots provider has gone a bit overboard with the number of bonus features, free spins boosters and bonus level saving mechanisms.

Dwarfs Gone Wild has a slightly above-average RTP compared to other video slots by the same developer. The graphics are also top-notch, with a colourful background, and each dwarf has his own little quirk that makes him stand out.

The possibility of a 2,535 x the stake maximum win is attractive enough for slots players that are into medium variance slots.
