You need to land a group of four of the same symbol, connected horizontally or vertically, to get a win. The winning symbols are destroyed, the remaining symbols fall into their place, and then new symbols are released from above to fill the void.

There are eight Gems as the base paying symbols, four types of Wilds, a Premium 10x symbol, a Bonus symbol, and three Watermarks that give an additional dimension to the game.

Uniquely, all normal paying symbols pay the same. There is a Pay Per Symbol meter on the left that influences how much each symbol pays. Starting from the bottom of the meter, every destroyed symbol increments the meter by 1. As sections of the meter are filled, each new symbol is worth more money.

Values start at 0.10 (so a group of four symbols awards a 0.40 win) and the maximum value is 5.00 after 141 destroyed symbols.

Bonus Features

There are four types of wild in Cool Jewels. The wild first has to be activated by becoming a part of a winning group, and then it performs its action. Shattering Wild will destroy all symbols on its row and reel. Shocking Wild will do the same, except that it will do so diagonally. Unstable Wild will destroy the eight symbols around itself. Finally, there’s the Persisting Wild.

When two of any Wilds land horizontally adjacent on the reels, enhancement features are triggered. The combinations are complex, and it’s best left to try it out yourself, and any enhancement feature will result in many symbols getting destroyed with stunning animations and feature announcements, of course.

Four or more destroyed Cool Jewels Bonus symbols will result in a free spins game.
