The first Cleopatra was released in 2002 (!) and was one of (if not THE) first video slots that started the whole Egyptian mythology craze. We remember clearly from our Las Vegas visits in those years, there were banks and banks of Cleopatra slots, and everybody was playing them.

Although Cleopatra’s popularity has since understandably fizzled out a bit, the whole brand still has plenty of star power.

Cleopatra Megaways does a good job of keeping the Cleopatra name alive but does come over as a bit too generic. Why didn’t iSoftbet go for a different bonus mechanic than the Hold and Win feature, which we have already seen in countless other slots?
